Jock Bradley Photography

We hope you have enjoyed the photos here and that they have spoken to you. Since you are here, you probably want to know a bit about Jock that the images can’t say.

Jock is an outdoorsman who has been able to make a living as a commercial and fine art photographer for most of his life. Every few years he gets an itch to focus on a creative genre that is beyond his expertise. For a long time he was a corporate photographer. As soon as he took up whitewater kayaking, that led him down a path of shooting kayaking and other extreme sports. During a trip to do a shoot in Jackson Hole, he noticed a pair of cowboys mending a fence. This has taken him on a project to photograph small cattle ranchers as they go about their day to day life. Recently he found himself wandering amongst the dunes of White Sands National Monument. Being very fond of the sculptor Henry Moore, he drew inspiration to look for abstract human shapes amongst the dunes. He believes this body of work is his most creative thus far. It has also forced him to come full circle to his photographic roots and embrace black and white photography once again.

His pro cameras and lenses are Nikon. The camera he always has with him is his iPhone 5.
